If you are tired of flipping burgers, working for minimum wage or just unhappy with your current job, then you are in the right place to learn how to become your own boss and have unlimited earning potential to provide for you and your family.
Before you jump ship from your current job and go full force into starting your own lawn care company, you do need to realize that it takes passion and true entrepreneurship to build a successful Lawn Care Empire. This is NOT a get-rich quick scheme.
My recommendation if you have a full time job right now is to test the waters in your neighborhood first. Keep it small enough that you can finish the work in the evenings and on the weekend. If after a couple months it is something that you think you can scale to support you and your family full-time (AND that you are passionate about), then I would take the plunge and quit your job.
Whether you are in high school, college, or out in the corporate world, I can't stress enough the need for you to have an emergency fund.
Self-employement is difficult due to the fact that you will not have a steady paycheck coming in or someone to cover your benefits. Make sure that you have enough money saved up to cover your slow months. I recommend at least the equivalent of 6 months worth of living expenses.
Trust me your customer portfolio is going to be constantly flucuating. The money you think you have coming in may disappear the next month. Always be prepared.
